The Rhode Island Film and Television Office, in conjunction with the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Education Program and the Rhode Island Arts Learning Network, held its third "Give Me Five" youth film showcase on May 21st at Bishop Hendricken in Warwick.

Teen filmmakers from school and community media education programs showed their work, and a panel of professionals gave feedback after each piece. Participating programs this year included: Cranston West High School, Bishop Hendricken High School (Warwick) , Beacon Charter High School (Woonsocket), Carriage House (Providence), Exeter-West Greenwich High School, Hope High School (Providence), Exeter-West Greenwich High School, Mount Hope High School (Bristol), Hugh Cole Elementary School, Warren (special category young filmmaker entry), and Westerly High School Also shown will be films from the GiveMe5 One Minute Film Challenge, featuring one-minute films created by inter-school teams from Westerly High School, Carriage House, Hope High School, Met School , Beacon Charter School, and Trinity Academy of the Performing Arts.
