The Rhode Island Film and Television Office, in conjunction with the Rhode Island State Council on the Arts Education Program and the Rhode Island Arts Learning Network, held its fourth "Give Me Five" youth film showcase on May 19th at LaSalle Academy in Providence.

Teen filmmakers from school and community media education programs showed their work, and a panel of professionals gave feedback after each piece.  Participating programs this year included:  Bishop Hendricken High School (Warwick) , Beacon Charter  High School (Woonsocket), Everett Company (Providence), Exeter-West Greenwich High School, Harken Youth Media (Providence), Just for Laughs Productions, LaSalle Academy (Providence), Metropolitan Career & Technical Center (Providence and Newport campuses),  North Kingstown High School, Trinity Academy for the Performing Arts, and Westerly High School.  Also shown were films from the GiveMe5 One Minute Film Challenge, featuring one-minute films created in 4 hours by inter-school teams from across the state.
