‘GiveMe5 Teen Film Festival’ held at the Greenwich Odeum

The seventh annual “GiveMe5 Teen Film Festival,” was held Saturday, May 16 at the Greenwich Odeum in East Greenwich which featured short films created by teen filmmakers from around the state. The festival also featured feedback from a professional film panel and one-minute films from the “GiveMe5 Teen Film Labs Make-a-Minute-Movie Challenge.”

“Diary of a Wimpy Kid” actor Robert Capron, Jr. served as this year’s guest emcee. The professional panel included Steven Feinberg, Director of the RI Film and Television Office; Kendall Moore, URI Associate Professor and filmmaker; and Tom DeNucci, film actor, producer, and director.

GiveMe5 is sponsored by Rhode Island State Council on the Arts’ Education Program, in conjunction with the Rhode Island Film and Television Office, and other film and media partners.
